Many of the sites on the NISCOWeb network (including Property In Lanzarote) require some personal information in order to deliver much of their functionality. At Property In Lanzarote we consider it our duty to help our clients and their customers to protect their privacy when they take advantage of the services offered by our network. To protect your privacy, we follow five principles in accordance with worldwide practices for customer privacy and data protection.
 

When we need information that personally identifies you ("Personal Information") we will ask for it. This information is normally required in order to be able to access some of the content on our network - on this site, for example, this includes providing property owners with the ability to enter data into our Property Database.

We use your Personal Information for five primary purposes:

• To make the site easier for you to use by not having to enter information more than once.
• To help you quickly find products, services or information on our network.
• To help us to create content most relevant to you.
• To alert you to upgrades, special offers, updated information and other new services provided by us under one or more of our business divisions; UK Computer Services, NISCOWeb and The Busy Bird Group.
• To provide statistics to our Advertisers and Strategic Partners concerning site usage. These statistics are aggregate totals (for example, hit counters) that do not expose your Personal Information in any way.

We occasionally allow other companies ("Strategic Partners") to offer our registered users information about their products and services, using email. This email is sent directly by us and our Strategic Partners are not provided with any of your Personal Information unless you respond to the email sent to you by us.  You may receive direct email from our Authorised Resellers for NISCOWeb services in Europe - this will be in connection with our Property Web Service or other services we develop from time to time.  You can opt out of these mailings at any time.

We consider security to be an issue of paramount importance and strictly protect your personal information.  We carefully protect your data from loss, misuse, unauthorized access or disclosure, alteration, or destruction.  Some of these measures are physical (for example, robust data centres hosting our physical technologies) and some are virtual (for example, software to lock our databases in the unlikely event of unauthorised access attempts).
